2014 BVC Winner CrowdStreet Closes Series B Funding Round
Bend, Ore., August 2, 2018 – On Tuesday, the 2014 Bend Venture Conference Seven Peaks investment winner, CrowdStreet, announced the completion of their $8 million Series B Funding Round. Existing investors Seven Peaks Ventures, along with Grotech Ventures, Rally Ventures, and Green Visor Capital headed the financing. Strategic investor Noam Bardin, CEO of Waze, also ran the financing that is helping CrowdStreet reform the $15 trillion commercial and multifamily real estate industry.
Dino Vendetti, Co-Founder of CrowdStreet and Managing Partner at Seven Peaks Ventures noted “Seven Peaks was the first investor in CrowdStreet and has been continuously impressed with the way the company has executed and grown into one of the dominant players in the real estate tech market. This latest round of funding provides the company with the capital to scale and deploy some key new product initiatives that will be launched soon.”
The fast-growing company, incubated in Bend for its first two years, helps real estate developers connect with investors, raise capital, and manage their online profile. Investors are given access to high-net-worth commercial properties and they are able to expand their wealth through online real estate investing. CrowdStreet’s online platform is changing the way people invest in commercial real estate.
The additional capital gained will be used to develop new products, increase deal flow, and enhance the user experience for both investors and sponsors. CrowdStreet will continue to serve their customers to provide the best experience possible and to grow their investor and sponsor directory.
